{"id":2983,"date":"2019-05-02T17:02:55","date_gmt":"2019-05-02T15:02:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/intereuropolcompetition.eu\/?p=2983"},"modified":"2019-05-06T14:08:28","modified_gmt":"2019-05-06T12:08:28","slug":"sam-dejonghe-joins-the-inter-europol-competition-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/test.intereuropolcompetition.pl\/en\/sam-dejonghe-joins-the-inter-europol-competition-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Sam Dejonghe joins the Inter Europol Competition team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Inter Europol Competition team is happy to announce that Sam Dejonghe (BEL) will join Paul Scheuschner on the #14 Ligier LMP3 for the rest of the European Le Mans Series races.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The quick 27-year old Belgian driver has a varied background, from karting, GT3, GT4, Formula Renault 2.0 and F3 to being the development driver of the Mahindra Racing team in the FIA Formula E.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He will share the LMP3 with Paul Scheuschner. Scheuschner has been with the team for three years and has become a good and fast gentleman driver.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sam Dejonghe<\/strong>: \u201cI am happy to be back in the paddock, and to do so with a team like Inter Europol Competition. I love my role with the Mahindra team, where I \u00a0spend most of my time doing development and in the simulator, but am aware that I need to race to keep my competitive edge, and the ELMS feels like the perfect environment for my ambition to climb up the prototype ladder. The LMP3 is a very good-looking car, and I can\u2019t wait to get my hands on it!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sascha Fassbender<\/strong>(Team Manager): \u201cWe are very happy to have Sam with us.
