The Inter Europol Competition team is at Barcelona this weekend (17 \u2013 18 March) for their first race of the season. The team participates with two Ligier JS-P3 LMP3 cars in the South European VdeV Championship in the Endurance GT\/Tourisme\/LMP3\/PFV class.
\nThe yellow and green LMP3 with number 22 will be driven by the 2016 VdeV LMP3 champion Kuba Smiechowski (Poland) and his new teammate Hendrik Still (Germany). Still just won the Pro-Am category in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Middle East. The team\u2019s second LMP3 (#33) will be piloted by first time teammates Paul Scheuschner (Germany) and Xavier Michel (France). Scheuschner was Still\u2019s Pro-Am teammate in the Lamborghini.
\nKuba Smiechowski: \u201cI am looking forward to defend the title I won last year. This year I have a new teammate, Hendrik Still. Looking at what he has done this year already, I know he is very fast. Barcelona is not an easy track but we tested here a couple of weeks ago so I hope to profit from this. Overall I think I have improved as a driver since last year. I am excited to finally start the season this weekend!\u201d<\/p>\n
